Où elle fonctionne
The e-vignette is required on the Czech motorway network (the D-class dálnice) — the D1 from Prague to Brno and Ostrava, the D5 toward Germany, the D8 toward Dresden and the rest of the D-roads. Ordinary first- and second-class roads are free.

- For vehicles up to 3.5 t; heavier vehicles use the separate electronic toll (mýto).
- Electric and hydrogen vehicles are exempt; plug-in hybrids and natural-gas vehicles pay a reduced rate (LPG does not).

Fuel type matters
Electric and hydrogen vehicles are exempt; plug-in hybrids emitting 50 g/km of CO₂ or less pay 25% of the rate and natural-gas vehicles get 50% off (LPG gets nothing). A foreign-registered electric or hydrogen vehicle must register the exemption with the operator in advance, or it can be fined despite being electric. You select your fuel type at checkout.

No. The Czech e-vignette is fully digital and linked to your number plate — there is nothing to stick on your windscreen.
Do electric cars pay? +
No — electric and hydrogen vehicles are exempt. Plug-in hybrids (50 g/km of CO₂ or less) pay 25% and natural-gas vehicles 50% less; LPG gets no discount. A foreign-registered electric or hydrogen vehicle must register the exemption in advance, or it can be fined. You pick your fuel type when you order.
When does it start? +

How is it linked to my car? +
To the licence plate you enter. Double-check the plate before you pay, because the vignette is valid only for that exact plate.
