No. VignPass is an independent service, not affiliated with any government authority or toll operator; a service fee applies. We register your vignette with the official operator on your behalf.

The price is the official toll fee plus our service fee. The fee covers registering your order, multilingual support and your email confirmation — we don't mark up the toll itself.

You choose the start date at checkout. How far ahead you can start depends on the country — Czechia and Bulgaria up to 30 days ahead, Slovakia up to 60 — while Hungary activates as soon as payment is confirmed. The end date follows the duration you pick.

Yes. In Czechia electric and hydrogen vehicles are exempt; plug-in hybrids emitting 50 g/km of CO₂ or less pay 25% of the rate, and natural-gas vehicles get a 50% discount (LPG gets none). You select your fuel type at checkout. Note: a foreign-registered electric or hydrogen vehicle must register the exemption with the operator in advance, or it can be fined despite being electric.

Switzerland sells a single product: an annual vignette, for vehicles up to 3.5 t — there is no short-term option. It is valid for about 14 months, from 1 December of the previous year to 31 January of the following year. A trailer needs its own separate vignette.

Slovenia charges by vehicle height measured above the front axle — not the vehicle's overall height, which is what most people get wrong. Up to 1.30 m is class 2A (most cars and SUVs); over 1.30 m is class 2B (larger vans), which pays more. Campervans are always class 2A. You pick the class at checkout. It comes as 7-day, monthly and annual, with a start date up to 30 days ahead.

Bulgaria's weekend vignette is valid from 12:00 noon on Friday to 23:59 on Sunday — so Friday morning isn't covered. Other options are 1-day, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual, with a start date up to 30 days ahead. Bulgaria uses the euro, and electric vehicles get a 20% discount.

If you've mistyped your licence plate, email us at support@vignpass.eu with your order ID as soon as possible. We'll help however we can — a correction may be possible before the vignette is issued, but once it has been registered to a plate the options can be limited, so please check your details carefully before paying.

One EETS device covers Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Croatia. It mounts on the windscreen and is read automatically in the electronic toll lanes, so the barrier opens without stopping. It costs €49.90, delivery included, with no subscription.

Delivery is included and we ship to all European regions. Toll boxes are shipped within 7–10 business days, and up to 14–21 days to more remote regions. Each box contains the toll device, a windscreen mounting bracket, and instructions covering how payment works and how to use the device.

Yes. Payments are handled by a PCI-DSS certified payment service provider and the checkout is encrypted. Your card details are entered on the provider's secure systems and never reach ours.

A digital vignette is non-refundable once it has been registered. By asking us to start the service immediately, you waive the 14-day withdrawal right (EU Consumer Rights Directive, Art. 16(m)) — you confirm this at checkout.

A toll box is a physical product, so it keeps the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, but only if it is unused — once the device has been activated or used, it can no longer be returned. See our Refunds & Withdrawal policy.

Digital vignettes are activated within 24 hours of payment, and we email your confirmation once it's registered to your plate. A physical toll box is different — it is shipped within 7–10 business days (up to 14–21 days to remote regions), separate from the instant/24-hour handling of digital vignettes.
