- The Austrian motorway vignette is digital and linked to your licence plate, for vehicles up to 3.5 t.
- It comes in 1-day, 10-day, 2-month and annual options.
- It is sold officially and directly by ASFINAG, which is why VignPass doesn't resell it.
- Austria is covered by this motorway vignette, not by the EETS toll box that covers Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and Croatia.
- Bought online, the 2-month and annual vignettes become valid only from the 18th day after purchase (the EU 14-day withdrawal right); the 1-day and 10-day can be used right away.
- The annual vignette runs on a fixed yearly window — the 2026 vignette, for example, is valid from 1 December 2025 to 31 January 2027.
